Program Funding and Sponsors

Funding for the Fayette County Attorney Driver Education Program will come from individual and corporate sponsors. We will not use budgeted Local funds, State funds or Federal Grants. For example, we have already received a commitment from Toyota on Nicholasville to provide our program with 11 new automobiles each year. Other corporate sponsors which have made substantial contributions are Kentucky Eagle Inc., Dixon Electric, State Farm Insurance, ATS, Vulcan Materials, Qx.Net, Dermatology Associates of Kentucky, Neurosurgical Associates, P.S.C., David & Paula Hollingsworth, Nally & Gibson, Toyota Manufacturing, Tutt, Inc., Woodall Construction, Inc., Haynes Trucking,  Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Young, Jr., Palmer Tire-Southland Drive, Tim and Kelly Chesney, and Larry Jakobi.

We have established Fayette County Attorney Driver Education, Inc., which is a          501(c) (3)  non-profit corporation that provides financial support to the Driver Education Program. Individuals or companies which provide financial or in-kind support are entitled to receive a federal and state tax deduction.

Beginning in June, 2011 and for the first six months of our program, we leased a temporary classroom, and we are presently working on acquiring funding for a permanent classroom facility. We need funds for equipment, traffic cones, and salaries for certified instructors.

To maintain and sustain this unique Teen Driving Program, we need total community support. If you can help with a contribution of $25, $50, or $100, it would be used directly to making this program a success.
